French Tennis Open: Live 3D broadcast across Europe
Paris — 26. May 2010 — Panasonic has today announced a joint partnership with the Fédération Française de Tennis (FFT), Orange and Eurosport, that will see the French Open Tennis, Roland Garros, transmitted live in high-quality 3D. This will be the first multi-day sporting tournament held in Europe to be broadcast live in 3D.

Panasonic “50 Series” featuring camera, switcher and system controller with IP capabilities to ship in summer
Las Vegas — 11. April 2010 — Panasonic revealed today its new “50 Series” – the company’s first implementation of an Internet Protocol (IP) and serial-controlled video production system. The complete system will ship in summer and includes the AW-RP50 remote camera controller, the AW-HS50 sub-compact live switcher with built-in Multi-Viewer, and two models of the AW-HE50, a multi-format HD/SD camera with an integrated pan-tilt-zoom mechanism.
